This is my teapot. I made it a simple but more feminine design, with a curl on the bottom of the handle. I glazed it with clear and dark blue splatter glaze over the top. The splatter is more condensed at the top and fades out towards the bottom, showing flow and movement on the body of the teapot. I used a new glazing technique of using a toothbrush as a method to spray the splatter glaze on. It created more controlled and smaller spots which I love!

This is my vase. I carved different sizes of squares in the outside for my pattern. For my glaze I used various under glazes for random squares. I wanted a random and bright style for this vase and the non-uniform colors on a mostly uniform pattern emphasize that. I learned how to make a cone and use the stick tool to my advantage to manipulate the angle of the cone.

This is my teapot. I learned how to make a spout and attach every piece. This was an entirely new experience making because I have never made something with so many different parts. I glazed it with black stripes for my pattern and with black inside. The teapot is a very classic style and I wanted to emphasize the shape without taking attention away from the project itself. There is a clear overcoat that emphasizes the black.

This is my mug. It is glazed in clear and blue and light blue. It has some
decorations from The Lord of the Rings on the outside. The shades of blue are glazed in random order and thickness to make a feather or leaf style of glaze. This was a new technique of glazes that I tried and learned how to do and I really like how it turned out.
