Pattern
-I tried different patterns physically in the project (squares, stripes, etc)
-glazed patterns (alternating colors) it's not a textural pattern but only physically.
What:
-mugs and teapots with different patterns and colors
- plates with similar colors but different styles of stripes
How:
-I made many simple designed mugs and bowls but glazed them in different colors and patterns. I used under glazes and normal glazes that stand out with clear.
-I made miscellaneous projects with engraved patterns for a textural pattern,I glazed each to emphasize the pattern
Why:
I chose patterns because of the universal use of them. Patterns are found all over he natural world and so I wanted to take that and give the patterns a fun and bright twist. I tried new glazing techniques and different designs on each of my projects.
